Description
The XYCOM XVME-240 is a high-density digital I/O card designed for VME-bus systems. It provides 80 TTL-compatible I/O channels organized into eight 8-bit ports, each featuring an additional flag output for use in interrupt or status signaling.
The module adopts a 6U dual-slot form factor compliant with the VME-bus standard, ensuring compatibility for direct plug-in installation within existing VME systems. Power and signal interfaces follow standard VME specifications.
Its firmware is implemented on a real-time operating system (RTOS), offering high code portability and reliable real-time responsiveness, making it ideal for industrial automation, measurement, and control applications that demand fast and deterministic I/O performance.
