🔷Product Overview
The MC392 is built for applications where milliseconds matter. With 64 inputs packed into a single slim card and 8-point common grouping, it delivers both high channel density and clean signal separation.
Each input group is optically isolated, so inverter noise, ground loops, and transient kickbacks from contactors or solenoids are contained. The 1 ms response window makes it suitable for:
- High-speed part-presence detection
- Encoder/Z-pulse and proximity-switch capture
- E-Stop / trip-hardwire acquisition
- SOE-adjacent event collection
- Packaging, stamping, lithium-battery, and semiconductor indexing
It requires no external 24 V auxiliary for the module logic itself — the field side supplies the 24 V signal, while the card draws 5 V from the backplane.
Typical Applications
- Automotive press lines & high-speed conveyors
- Packaging / bottling / labeling machines
- Lithium-cell and PCB assembly indexing stations
- Power-plant auxiliary interlocks and trip acquisition
- Water-treatment pump/valve status collection
- Paper, printing, and textile machine in-position sensing
